Representatives of the Plast scouting organization handed over the Peace Light brought from Bethlehem to PRAVEX BANK. The handover ceremony took place at the Bank's head office, where employees together with clients and partners joined this bright tradition.
Every year before Christmas, the international scouting organization Plast distributes the Bethlehem Fire, which symbolizes peace, love and grace. This fire, brought from the birthplace of Jesus Christ, is an important sign for Christians around the world. For many, it has become a symbol of hope and unity, especially in times of trial.
Receiving the Bethlehem Fire from the Plast members, Semen Babaiev, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Head of the Main Business Department of PRAVEX BANK, said: “On the eve of Christmas, we are once again immersed in the magic of the holidays, which reminds us of the values that make our lives meaningful. Despite the difficulties, it is important to keep faith in light and goodness. The Bethlehem Fire, like Christmas, is an unquenchable symbol of unity and hope for each of us.”
The tradition of passing the Peace Light of Bethlehem originated in Austria, but thanks to the Plast Scouts it has gained popularity in Ukraine. Every year the fire crosses borders and reaches thousands of people, symbolizing light and peace for all.
