PRAVEX BANK is among the finalists of the "Partnership for Sustainable Development-2023" contest in the Society category. The contest is held annually by the UN Global Compact Network in Ukraine to highlight best practices in sustainable development from business and the public sector.
PRAVEX BANK received an award for the social project "Corporate Donor Day", which it implements together with the Kyiv City Blood Center. As part of the initiative, employees, clients, and partners of the Bank donate blood to save the lives of those who need an urgent blood transfusion.
"The award from the UN Global Compact shows that we are on the right track. This is not only a recognition of achievements, but also a confirmation that sustainable development has become part of our life and culture," comments Hanna Nesterenko, PRAVEX BANK Acting Head of HR & Organization.
The Partnership for Sustainable Development contest has been running since 2018 to promote the Sustainable Development Goals and promote partnerships between businesses, governments, business associations, civil society and academia.
In May 2023, PRAVEX BANK, which is part of the banking Group Intesa Sanpaolo, joined the UN Global Compact. The Bank undertook to adhere to the thirteen principles of the UN Global Compact in four areas: protection of human rights, labor relations, environmental protection, and the fight against corruption.
